Devise and execute PR strategies to enhancing corporate image
Prepare publicity materials, handle PR events and media enquiries
Maintain excellent relationships with journalists/editors and local mass media to generate optimum media coverage/exposure by managing PR strategies and leveraging media contacts, securing coverage in all possible means including press releases, editorial, comments, media interviews, sponsorship, public speaking etc.
Liaise and coordinate with internal key stakeholders and work closely with external stakeholders including Government bodies, public organisations, etc
Monitor emerging issues on media, anticipate market reactions to minimise negative publicity, manage media enquiries and responses around crisis situations;
Develop and implement content and distribution strategy to promote the programmes and to further strengthen the branding and positive perception for the company across all channels such as PR, Social media, blogs, website, events, online publishers, etc.
Requirements
Degree holder or above in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines
4-5 years’ relevant experience in PR communications
Good copywriting and editorial skills, ability to develop new content that can arose media interest
Have a strong and existing relationship with media contacts, preferably that of sports and feature pages
Have a strong sense in public affairs and local politics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin) is a must
Be an excellent team player, self-motivated, innovative, energetic and presentable
Able to work under pressure and at a fast-pace and dynamic environment with an uncompromising commitment to quality
